On June 22, 2021 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of India Mr. Andrei Rzheussky took part in webinar to commemorate 80 years since the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.

 

 

Participating in the event were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India Mr. Nikolay Kudashev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic Armenia to the Republic of India Mr. Yuri Babakhanyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of India Mr. Andrei Rzheussky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of India Mr. Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of India Mr. Asein Isaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of India Mr. Lukmon Bobokalonzoda, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkmenistan to the Republic of India Mr. Shalar Geldynazarov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of India Mr. Dilshod Akhatov, Professor of the University of Delhi Dr. Girish Munjal.

 

 

The speakers paid tribute to the memory of those fallen in the Great Patriotic War, noted the importance of preserving the historical truth and combating the glorification of Nazism. Ambassador of Belarus in his speech noted the inadmissibility of falsifying the history of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, drew attention to the open interference in the internal affairs of the Republic of Belarus from the West and called on to support independence and sovereignty of our country.
