Cooperation in Humanitarian Field

The development of cooperation in the field of education is carried out within the framework of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on Cooperation in the Field of Education signed in November 2012.

The number of Bangladeshi citizens receiving higher education in Belarus is unstable. In 2015/2016 academic year, 8 Bangladeshi citizens studied in Belarusian educational institutions, in 2016/2017 academic year, – 177 citizens, in the 2017/2018 academic year, – 48 Bangladeshi students, in 2018/2019 academic year, – 26 persons, in 2019/2020 academic year, 22 Bangladeshi students got education in Belarus, in 2020/2021- 23 students.
 
In June 2016, cooperation ties were established between the Republican Institute of Professional Education (RIPO) and Bangladeshi Rangpur Technical School and College.
 
In January 2016, a Memorandum on Cooperation between Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and Daffodil International University of Bangladesh was signed.
 
The possibility of cooperation in the field of emergency situations, as well as obtaining additional education in the field of nuclear safety by Bangladeshi specialists, is being studied.
 
In April 2018, the Minister for the Affairs of the Liberation War of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh visited Belarus and got acquainted with the Khatyn Memorial Complex.
 
In May 2018, an official Bangladeshi delegation including two ministers and four members of the Parliament visited the Republic of Belarus to get the experience of the activity of the Khatyn Memorial Complex.
 
In December 2019, Deputy Minister of Culture of Bangladesh visited Minsk to get acquainted with the experience of the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War and hold talks at the Ministry of Culture of Belarus.
