On the Indo Belarus Film and Culture Forum

On April 8, 2022, the opening ceremony of the Indo Belarus Film and Culture Forum, dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and India, was held at the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of India. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Belarus in India in association with the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment, the film studio «Marwah Studios», and the Asian Film and Television Academy

During the forum, the role of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment in strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between countries was noted. The current status and prospects of the Belarusian-Indian cooperation in the field of culture, cinematography and education were discussed.

Ambassador of Belarus to India Andrei Rzheussky focused attention on the tourist attraction of Belarus, as well as on the hospitality and friendly behaviour of the Belarusian people. It was also announced that the Days of Belarusian Films in India will be held on April 19-20, 2022 at the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment under the umbrella of the film studio «Marwah Studios».
