On the participation of the Ambassador of Belarus to India M. Kasko in the 16th meeting of BRICS Ministers of Agriculture
12.06.2026Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to India Mikhail Kasko participated in the 16th BRICS Agriculture Ministers' Meeting, which will be held on June 12–13, 2026, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
In his speech, Mikhail Kasko noted that achieving the results of a BRICS partner country opens significant opportunities for Belarus to expand international cooperation. The ambassador emphasized the strategic importance of agriculture for the country, its high level of food security, and Belarus's economic potential in dairy and meat production.
Mikhail Kasko expressed support for Belarus's contribution to food security in BRICS countries through the supply of high-quality products at affordable prices and proposed developing scientific and technical cooperation, modern research, and the creation of import-substituting industries in the agro-industrial complex.
