On the meeting of the Ambassador of Belarus to India M. Kasko with the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry of India J. Prasada

On August 13, 2019, the Ambassador of Belarus to India met with Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare of India Dr. Pramod Kumar Meherda to discuss the state and prospects of Belarusian-Indian cooperation in the field of agriculture.

Specific steps were considered to develop cooperation in the field of professional education and advanced training of Indian citizens in Belarusian agricultural academies, participation in international agricultural exhibitions held in both countries, including the Belarusian Agricultural Week “Belagro”, the use of Belarusian agricultural machinery in the process of mechanization of the agricultural sector of the Indian economy, supplies of Belarusian products (chicken meat, dry whey and cheeses) and cooperation in the agricultural sector (processing and production of meat and dairy products), plant breedin.
