Ambassador of Belarus to India M.Kasko presented books and periodicals from India to the funds of the National Library of Belarus
12.08.2025On August 12, a solemn ceremony of transferring books to the library's collections from the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of India took place at the National Library of Belarus.
The ceremony was attended by the Director General of the National Library of Belarus Vadim Gigin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of India Mikhail Kasko.
More than 250 books and periodicals in English, Russian and Sanskrit have been transferred to the library's collection. Among them are popular science and reference publications on the culture, religion, philosophy and regional studies of India.
The guest of honor was given a tour of the building of the main library of the country and was introduced to the history of its creation.
