On the Ambassador's meeting with the Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and the Minister of Home Affairs of Bangladesh

On April 29, 2026, H.E. Mikhail Kasko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of India and concurrently to the People's Republic of Bangladesh, met with Mr. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Minister of Local Government, Rural Development, and Cooperatives, and Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed, Minister of Home Affairs Bangladesh.

During the meetings, the parties discussed a range of issues of mutual interest, including expanding bilateral cooperation, agricultural mechanization, the supply of municipal and road construction equipment, law enforcement, security, and defense.

Following the meetings, the parties reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening existing partnerships.
