The Ambassador of Belarus to India and Sri Lanka met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka

On October 9, 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to India and Sri Lanka (concurrently) met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, Vijith Herath.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current agenda of bilateral cooperation on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries. They touched upon visa facilitation and the expected positive impact of the launch of direct flights between Belarus and Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankan side expressed interest in implementing Belarusian investment projects in Sri Lanka and expanding trade and economic cooperation between Minsk and Colombo.
