Ambassador of Belarus presents the Credentials to the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka
28.11.2024On November 28, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of India and Sri Lanka (concurrently) Mikhail Kasko presented his credentials to the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, H.E. Hon. Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
During a short conversation, the President of Sri Lanka noted the friendly nature of relations between the two countries.
The Head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission emphasized the existence of significant potential for increasing bilateral cooperation in various fields, including trade, education, science, tourism, culture, as well as on topical issues of the international agenda.
During the working visit, a bilateral meeting was also held with the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, H.E. Hon. Vijitha Herath.
The parties constructively discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation and concrete steps to further deepen it.
