On the work of Belarusian diplomats to develop trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and India

Last week, as part of developing trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and India, Belarusian diplomats Sergei Trotsyuk, Senior Counsellor, and Svetlana Vergeichik, First Secretary, held meetings with the leadership of India's largest business associations. This resulted in an agreement to hold roundtables and presentations on the economic and investment potential of the Republic of Belarus for interested Indian companies.
Furthermore, during the talks, the Indian side proposed organizing and conducting a road show with the participation of the National Agency for Investment and Privatization and other interested parties in India's largest regions.
The Indian side also expressed interest in having Indian business delegations attend the international specialized exhibition in Minsk as part of the Belarusian Agro-Industrial Week from June 2 to 6, 2026.
