The Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to India met with prospective students of the Grodno Medical University from India
19.09.2025On September 14, 2025, a White Coat ceremony was held in Ahmedabad, India, for 75 prospective students of Grodno State Medical University from Gujarat. For the second year in a row, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of India M. Kasko participated in this event.
During a meeting with the participants, the Head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission answered their questions regarding living conditions and the safety of studying in the country, spoke about Belarus's cultural traditions and emphasized the high quality of Belarusian higher education.
This last point is supported by the fact that more than 300 students from India are currently studying at Grodno State Medical University, and 94% of the university's graduates confirm their qualifications in India (medical licensing exam) on their first attempt. Addressing future students, M. Kasko noted that the medical profession will always be relevant and important, and wished them success and perseverance in achieving their goals and plans.
