Ambassador of Belarus visited Kolkata

On October 15, 2019, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to India H.E. Mr.Andrei Rzheussky paid the one-day visit to Kolkata,for participating in the signing ceremony of the contract for the supply of 77 Belarusian mining dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 150 tons to India between “BelAZ” OJSC and the Indian Maharatra  (state-owned) company “Coal India”. The signing of this largest contract for the supply of Belarusian-made dumpers to South Asia is the result of many years of work by “BelAZ” OJSC and the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in India for promoting the production of the Belarusian major flagship producer to the Indian market.
According to the agreement reached, the first batch of equipment in the amount of 16 units will be shipped before the end of 2019.
During the meeting of the Belarusian delegation with the leadership of the “Coal India” company, the Indian Side announced their intention to sign at the end of 2019 — early 2020 another contract for the delivery to India of another large batch of “BelAZ” mining dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 240 tons.
