On participation in the seminar

On October 28, 2021, UN Habitat Centre in India hosted the seminar on “Sustainable Agriculture and India towards Total Food Security”. The seminar was organized by World Food Trust. The Indian company Erisha Agritech Private Ltd, partner of Belarusian agriculture, is one of the partners of this event.

The seminar was attended by representatives of public bodies, institutions and diplomatic missions.

 

 

The Second Secretary of the Embassy of Belarus in India Y. Kolesnik presented a report entitled “Potential of Belarus in the development of Indian Agriculture”, in which the diplomat reflected the potential of Belarusian potassium chloride for the needs of Indian farmers, as well as for the oil and gas and chemical industries. The possibilities of supplying ecological extract from peat, technical rapeseed oil to the Indian market were also captured. Separately, the readiness of the Belarusian side to provide technologies for food processing was presented.

The participants of the seminar were also able to familiarize with prospects of Belarusian agricultural machinery.
