On the second meeting of Expert Group on issues pertaining to Indian students abroad

On August 9, 2018 representatives of the Embassy took part in the second meeting of the Expert Group on issues pertaining to Indian students abroad.
Representatives of the Ministry of Human Resources Development of India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India, as well as more than twenty representatives of embassies accredited in New Delhi attended the event, chaired by Dr. D.M. Mulay, Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs of India.
Discussions were held on the exchange of information on educational institutions and recruiting agents, the creation of a single information resource for Indian students wishing to study abroad, and the experience of Australia and New Zealand in regulating cooperation with recruiting agents.
