Interactive session of Ambassador in Pune (Maharashtra, India)

On April 17, 2019, the interactive session of Belarus Ambassador to India Andrei Rzheussky with representatives of the business community of Maharashtra was arranged as part of the Ambassador’s visit to Pune by the invitation of the Confederation of Indian Industry.
During the event Ambassador delivered a presentation on the investment and export potential of the Republic of Belarus and also discussed the ideas and projects developing Belarusian-Indian cooperation in the fields of industry, pharmaceuticals, digital technologies, textile and petrochemical production, tourism and many others.
Representatives of more than 10 Indian companies expressed the interest in the development of joint projects of various formats with the Republic of Belarus, which includes the projects in the framework of the of the Belarusian-Indian investment cluster (SEZ “Bremino-Orsha”).
The session was organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry within an umbrella of the “regional tour of Ambassador” proposed by the Indian side and the of the Indian part and of the bilateral group on the development of the Belarusian-Indian investment cluster proceedings in the run-up to the Belarusian-Indian investment forum.
The parties agreed to promote the mutually relevant projects as well as to elaborate on the visits of the incentivized companies to Belarus.
