Ambassador of Belarus A.Rzheussky meets Deputy Foreign Minister of India

On January 31, 2019, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to India Andrei Rzheussky met with Secretary (West) of the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India Vikas Swarup.
During the meeting, the recent state and prospects of Belarusian-Indian relations in political, trade and other spheres were discussed. The dates of the visit of Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of India V.Muraleedharan to Minsk, as well as the possibility of holding Belarusian-Indian inter-ministerial consultations in Minsk in the second or third quarter of this year were also discussed.
The interlocutors expressed their mutual satisfaction with the friendly and constructive nature of bilateral cooperation and their commitment to further expanding cooperation in all issues of the bilateral agenda.
The importance of maintaining the intensity of bilateral political contacts at a high level as a basis for the successful implementation of Belarusian-Indian cooperation projects in the fields of trade, industrial cooperation, investment and others was emphasized.
It was also noted an understanding of the need for further close and constructive contacts in order to support the interests of the two countries on international platforms.
