On the Ninth Session of the Belarusian – Indian Intergovernmental Commission

On September 24th – 25th, 2018, the Ninth Session of the Belarusian – Indian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation was held in Minsk. From the Belarusian side the event was co-chaired by Hon’ble Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Pavel Utiupin, from the Indian Side – by Hon’ble State Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of India Shri C.R. Chaudhuri. According to the results of the event, the Protocol of the 9th Session of the Commission defining the main directions of the Belarusian-Indian cooperation in various fields was sighed on September 25th, 2018.

As a part of the event the Belarusian-Indian Business Forum was held by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Embassy of Belarus in India on September 24, 2018. During the forum the Bilateral Investment Treaty was signed by Hon’ble Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Oleg Kravchenko and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Belarus Ms. Sangeeta Bahadur.
